Our education program is rooted in the authentic Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition, honoring the lineage that traces back to Mikao Usui. We believe that by preserving the integrity and simplicity of these original teachings, we provide a stable, powerful foundation for every student. As your primary instructor, my role is to act as both a bridge and a facilitator; I am here not only to impart technique but to hold a supportive, sacred space where you can awaken your own innate healing abilities. Reiki is a gentle yet powerful, traditional energy healing method founded by Dr. Mikao Usui, in Japan. It was based on the Buddhist teachings of Meththa (Loving Kindness), Karuna (Compassion), Muditha (Empathy) & Upekkha (Equanimity). Healing is an art, combined with all these qualities developed through the healer. Gaining in popularity over the last century- in the West, Reiki healing made a huge impact to the world health care industry, now it’s a recognised method by the World Health Organisation as an alternative therapy for medications.
Mikao Usui (1865–1926) was a Japanese spiritual teacher and the founder of the Usui Reiki healing system. He developed Reiki in the early 20th century as a holistic practice for physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. After a period of intense meditation and fasting on Mount Kurama, Usui experienced a profound spiritual awakening that became the foundation for Reiki. He began teaching and sharing this healing method, emphasizing self-growth, inner peace, and compassionate living. Today, Usui’s legacy lives on through millions of Reiki practitioners around the world.
